A visa for a short business trip to Kyrgyzstan, negotiations, conferences, meetings, sports events or medical treatment at the invitation of an organisation. Valid for up to 90 calendar days, it does not allow work.
The business visa (type “B”) is issued for a short stay of up to 90 calendar days for purposes not related to earning income. It is based on an invitation from a legal entity (of any form of ownership) or an international organisation.

The visa is meant for short business visits during which you earn no income in Kyrgyzstan.
A business visa does not give the right to employment, self-employment or any other income-generating activity in the Kyrgyz Republic. Work requires a Unified Permit, a document that combines the work visa, the permit to hire foreign labour and the work permit.
Applications are filed through the Kyrgyz Republic’s official e-visa portal. The form is completed in English, and supporting documents must be in Kyrgyz or Russian or come with a translation into one of them.

If documents are missing or corrections are needed, the portal returns the application, and the 5 working days start again once everything is completed. A paid expedited review is available if needed.
The visa fee is not refunded if the visa is refused, if the form contains a mistake, or if the visa is not used. Your details must match your passport exactly, and it is best to buy tickets after the visa is approved.
Visa validity and length of stay are different things: validity is the period during which you may enter and be in the country, length of stay is how many days you may spend in Kyrgyzstan within that period.
Foreigners who are not exempt must register at their place of stay, online at ereg.e-gov.kg or in person. For most nationalities the deadline is 5 working days after arrival, citizens of some countries have different deadlines or are exempt. If you stay at a hotel, it usually handles the registration.
Since 18 September 2026 the length of stay is calculated automatically from border-crossing data. Overstaying leads to a fine, and overstaying the visa-free period can bar your next visa-free entry.
